Tampico's has been a Lafayette favorite for a long time. It was located down Johnston and sometime in the 80's it moved to what was then known as El Torrito's. It has always been a pretty good Mexican style resturant with good food & nice atmosphere. El Torrito's being one of our favorites back then had a large separate lounge area where eating and drinking is more festive. None of that has changed. Its a real good meeting place or a good place to spend the evening.
